Hidden History gives the true story of the Democratic Party from its very inception until today. It is a history that most Democrats know nothing of and would find shocking. It is an incredible yet fully documented tale of larceny, murder, slavery, and corruption. These pages reveal that the Democratic Party has turned hostile to capitalism, free enterprise, individual freedom, and Christianity and is gravitating instead towards hedonism, socialism, perversion, and totalitarianism.
Beginning with the brutal treatment of American Indians, culminating in the Trail of Tears and continuing through the Mexican-American War, and on through the Civil War, the author shows how the pro-slavery Democratic Party was complicit in the subjugation of minorities and weaker nations to steal land for the personal profit of the politicians who championed government policies that resulted in death and suffering for untold thousands.
Although this book criticizes the Democratic Party, it affirms that many Democrats are decent people who are simply uninformed about the activities of the party they support. In the final chapter, the author provides peaceful and democratic solutions to remedy the deteriorating conditions in America’s government, providing hope for future generations.
This book covers politics from a Christian perspective.
Chapter 1 gives a dramatic account of the Trail of Tears.
If such is the case, that God superintended the building of America, it is reasonable to assume that Satan, that crafty enemy of all that is good and wholesome, is desirous to inhibit, impede, and destroy any nation that experiences the blessings of God. It would be naïve to think otherwise. Satan uses politics to gain control over countries to ban the Bible, outlaw Christianity, and implement his various infernal plans. We must not imagine that the devil is not involved in the affairs of the world. The famous Christian apologist C.S. Lewis hit the nail on the head when he said, “There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight.” Within the political realm, people frequently fall into the former error, that the devil doesn’t exist in politics.
Oh, but he does. A study of American history makes it evident that Satan has managed to influence government policies in America. The following chapters will provide evidence of that. In this preface, I wish to address the efficacy of Christian awareness of this and the urgent need for Christians to be politically active in countering Satan’s devilish schemes in the political realm. Plato said, “The penalty good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.” How true that is. Christians, more than any, should be involved in politics, and the preacher even more so. True is the maxim: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
Some may imagine that it is somehow unspiritual to care about politics. It may be presumed that spiritual warfare does not manifest itself in the political arena. Perhaps some feel that Christians defending their rights is somehow improper or unimportant. To counter such suppositions, let me point out from Scripture the attitude which Jesus and the apostles held in this matter.
