Millions Have Vanished...
And the aliens are taking credit, claiming these "disruptive" persons have been removed for reeducation and the betterment of planet earth.
But Lydia St. James has her doubts. She can't help remembering the warnings her grandmother gave long ago, about the Rapture, and how Jesus will return for His own right before a terrifying event known as the Great Tribulation.
Meanwhile, Lydia's husband, Alexander, insists she and their daughter, Cass, move to an underground bunker where they can hide and escape the pandemonium going on topside. But then Cass vanishes, and Lydia must travel deep beneath the bunker itself into an alien world to find her daughter. There she and Alexander come face to face with their greatest fears and doubts as they and a small band of freedom fighters battle aliens and a host of dark entities.
Will Lydia and Alexander be able to save Cass from the horrors of an "alien" abduction? And will they learn the truth before it's too late?

The best part of this book is when Cassie realizes the "aliens" aren't aliens at all, but demons and that God's love and power are greater than anything Satan can throw at us.
Cass screamed.
Menace shot like arrows from the Zetas, piercing her soul. Fear smothered her like a tight jacket.
Her muscles moved of their own volition. She bolted to the far wall. Tripped over the corner of her bunk. Plummeted to the stony floor. Landed hard on her side, pain radiating through her arm and back.
Then one of them was beside her. It snatched her leg in a viselike grip, dragging her toward the door.
Another Zeta reached under Markey’s bed. The girl gripped the edge of her cot, pressing her chest against the metal leg. “No!”
It grabbed her leg and tugged. A third alien pointed a small, silver rod in Markey’s direction. The thing struck her hand with a spark. Markey howled in pain, then let go, cradling her injured limb. The smell of burning flesh filled Cass' nostrils and made her ill.
They hauled both girls across the floor. Pebbles and bits of grime tore at Cass' flesh. Then she was through the door. She tried gripping the frame, but her captors wrenched her away with ease. The floor in the corridor was even filthier. The place stunk with a mixture of urine, vomit, and death. The floor was damp in places, and Cass wondered what the creatures lugged her through.
The hallway had a long line of doors on each side and voices carried through the food slots—pleadings, moans, and wails. Men and women imprisoned in cells, all of them lonely, terrified souls, despairing in the dark. Markey gave a piercing animal shriek, the sound echoing down the passageway. Terror was palpable, enveloping Cass and freezing her own attempt to cry out.
They reached the end of the hallway, and a door opened to a large room. The area was dim saved for a light that hung from a metallic snake suspended from the ceiling. Beams shone down on four silver tables, lined in a row and fitted with straps designed to pin a victim in place. Strange tools and needles sat on a nearby table.
The aliens released her and Cass collapsed to the floor, but before she could scramble to her feet, she felt herself rising through the air, levitating, as if she were floating on invisible water. Then she was lowered onto a table, and the straps came alive, clamping her chest and legs and pinning her in place.
She saw Markey struggle in vain against her own straps, the girl’s eyes wide in terror as the Zeta drew near. “Please! No!”
Then Cass couldn’t focus on Markey anymore because a Zeta loomed over her with a scalpel. Another Gray appeared with a needle connected with a tube.
God, where are You?
Words rose from her heart, and she shouted, “Jesus, help me!”
The tools clattered to the ground. The beings vanished.
Cass shrieked, not out of terror, but joy. It was true. Uncle Trey was right. Jesus was alive! He was real! He was powerful and mighty! Those beings weren’t aliens. They were demons, fierce and frightening in their own right, but terrified and fleeing at the name of Jesus.
God didn’t abandon her. He was right there, with her in the bowels of hell, and He’d help her find a way out.
“Jesus!” She shouted His name. “Jesus! Jesus!”
