Adam loved Eve. He thought she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He felt like she was everything he ever wanted for a friend and a companion. Eve felt the same way about Adam. Eve loved it when Adam put his strong arms around her, making her feel cared for and appreciated. They were so close it felt like they were a part of each other.
Adam and Eve loved running through the garden laughing and playing. Eve liked the way the soft soil felt under her bare feet. Adam found a large tree beside the river. He climbed up and out onto a limb that stretched out over the water. Then he jumped into the water! Jumping into the river for a swim became one of their favorite things to do. They looked forward to that every day.
The Garden of Eden was huge! It went on for miles, with groves of trees and all kinds of lovely plants. It had meadows of all sizes. There were little hidden forest glades with soft velvety grass to lie on. Eve liked these the best because they had patches of colorful flowers scattered about. Adam and Eve enjoyed exploring the garden and discovering new things.
God had put them in charge of the garden, and they enjoyed taking care of it. It was not any work at all. It was fun! Adam and Eve would walk through the garden holding hands, talking about their plans for the garden and what they could do to make it even better. They loved each other very much. They never argued or were cross with each other. That didn’t even enter their minds.
