orgiveness is one of the hardest and most important things we have to do. A heart that forgives is one that thrives.
To what extent should we forgive? As the Lord forgave you. In doing these things, we’ll be allowing God to remove the roots of bitterness, anger and wrath, and shouting and slander. That is the incredible favor of forgiveness.
You may wonder, “how can there be so many devotionals about forgiveness? It’s seems like a limited teaching topic…”
But you’ll be surprised and inspired by the dozens of different takes on the subject. Join 16 Devo Writers as they share personal stories of how God walked them through their own hurts to a place of forgiveness and what that can mean for your life.
This collection is formed with various authors around the world. The viewpoints of each author do not reflect those of everyone involved. We differ on some theological issues, but our goal is to come together—despite those differences—to share messages that challenge us to be faithful to Christ.
All Christian writers are invited! If you want to be a Devo Writer, there’s room for more in upcoming collections! (More info in the book)

The various perspectives from best-selling authors who send their best writing makes this a powerful collaboration.
I don’t know about you, but wish to be fully forgiven daily, so I should grant that to those who have wronged me.
Now, I know that may not sit well with you, so I’ll lean back into scripture. Directly following the Lord’s Prayer, this is what Jesus said:
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
—Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV)
If you’re still not convinced of the value of forgiveness on a daily basis, Ephesians sets the bar even higher. Consider the level to which God has forgiven you: completely! Now read this:
“Let all bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
—Ephesians 4:31-32 (CSB)
